ya SIMPLE GREEN is your best friend!!!!!! i pressure washer will help BUT a garden hose will help! just use a spray bottle and buy a large bottle of the simple green cleaner and just go to town spraying down the engine bay let it soak for a few mins.... then respray the cleaner let it sit for about 5mins and then hose off.....

worked great on my 94 that had thrown a rod before i got it... but i did use a pressure washer BUT i had my engine removed
so i didnt have to worry about any water in electrical conections....
thats the only problem with using a pressure washer... is its pressure is to high that it forces water around the water seals on the electrical conections and messes up the conections which could cause problems!!!!!!!!!
a garden hose with a sprayer on it should do the trick just fine...

i sprayed my engine bay BIG TIME with my cleaner...... used just about the whole gallon!
