1992 Civic LX sedan, at a certain point on the throttle there is a slight stutter. It is very small and if you give it a tad more gas its gone. Anyone had this happen before? Thanks.

 

what? wut kind stutter... like the car shakes? or whhat?

 

I had the same problem once (not in a Honda though). It was my MAP sensor. I just started replacing things that I thought might be the culprit and got lucky.......I tried the O2 sensor first, MAP sensor was changed next, and the stutter disappeared.

 

first thing id do is go get some "Carb cleaner" or equivlent (intake manifold cleaner) .......remove your intake hose and let the car idle.......spray some of that stuff in the intake and itll burn a lotta **** up........and it mite solve ur problem......its worth a shot cuz itll cost u under 5$
