Hello, I recently bought a 2005 civic lx special edition 1.7L manual. Shifting was rough until I wasn't able to use the clutch pedal. It stayed stuck to the floor. I took it to a mechanic to repair the master and slave cylinder. It appeared to be the slave that was the problem. Shifting became much better except I couldn't go into 4th at all. It feels like there is no 4th position at all. I tried wiggling into it and went into either 2nd or reverse(with light grinding to insure no damage). I tried with engine off and it still wouldn't go into 4th. I cannot call the mechanic until Monday, so I'm posting here to see what it possibly could be.
