Default Updated: Cranks, Fires then Dies

"94 Civic EX .... Engine stopped running, would crank and would fire while the
ignition was engaged, but when starter disengaged it stopped firing. It started 15min later and I went home. The next day, it started and stopped running 10mi from home just like the night before. As before, it would fire while the starter was engaged but would stop firing immediately when I
backed off on the key thereby disengaging the starter. This time it would not start and I had it towed back home. Today as I was attempting get it mobile,
I noticed that none of my dash lights came on when I turned on the ignition.
It continues to crank and fire only when the starter is engaged only. I put in a new coil to no avail. The battery has been freshly charged.
Any ideas anyone? I'd greatly appreciate all input. Thanks, David.

As mk378 suggested in your other related thread, you ignition switch is almost surely bad.
