A powdercoated valve cover WILL NOT fade, peel, chip, discolor, and lasts practically forever
There guys do a great job and also will sand off the lettering so it looks stock

those look good. i dont plan on spending alot tho. jus suttin to look nice and to be cheap. but i just finsihed washing the valve cover. i first sprayed it down with engine cleaner. inside and out. i then used warm water mixed with some cleaning solution my mom had and scrub it alittle with a regular dish pad. letting it dry now and then tomorrow i plan on sanding it with 800 grit sandpapper just to get the surface alittle roughed up to get the new paint to stick. maybe do 2 coats since there already is paint on it. after that maybe 2 coats of clear.

question about the clear...will it make it a shiny color or would it still look like a flat black.
