Valve cover nut
So I decided to paint my valve cover. All went well until I went to put it back on. The one nut that holds the ground wire on the valve cover broke off with part of the bolt from the head inside it. Basically I was left swearing and looking for a place to re ground the engine. I found another spot to connect the wire and i placed some rtv gasket maker over where the bolt snapped off. My question is how the bloody heck do i fix this?
Same thing sorta happened to me. I painted my valve cover a few weeks back and when I was putting the valve cover back on I snapped a head cover bolt inside the head. I brought it to the dealership and they couldn't get it out, so they just used liquid gasket to seal the valve cover. They didn't charge me anything which was cool still kinda sux though...
