Default Valve lash adjustment question...

What exactly should the drag on the feeler gauge feel like?

If the feeler gauge is off of alignment with the valve stem just a bit I feel more drag. Is that what I am looking for or should I be feeling for the drag with it EXACTLY lined up. ((I hope that this is clear enough?)) I dont know of a better way to say it.

I just need to know how much drag I should be feeling for. Thanks Guys and Girls. Any help would be great.

the least amount of drag you can get it to make by changing the angle (so perfectly straight) should be just enough to feel, but not enough so that it feels like you have to really put any pressure on it to slide it out.

Should there be any play in the rocker arm when it is adjusted right?

Yippy. Everything I did yesterday did nothing to fix the noise and even seems to have killed even more of the engines power. This is gonna be a GREAT new years. I can tell already. LOL

Here is the engine running before the valve lash adjustment. BEFORE

Here is the engine running after I screwed everything up.BTW, it was dark when i took this one. AFTER

I think I am just gonna give up and take it to a shop here that does only Honda, and Acura.
