Default Weird sound when turning corners

Hello,

For the past couple of months, I've noticed a rattling sound when I would make a strong left turn. Now, this rattling sound has gotten louder, more of like a grinding/crunching, and it does it when I turn both directions.

The odd thing is that when I straighten up, the sound goes away. I'm new to the community I'm in now, so I'm going to have to find a mechanic to have a look at it, unless this sounds really obvious to someone and is something I can fix.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help.

Sounds like CV-Joints to me, if it is the CV-Joints then if you have no mechanical knowledge then take it to a mechanic to fix.

Does it sound like clicking? It's probably your cv joints as previously stated. It's not hard to replace them your self as long as you have a breaker bar to get of the axle nut. Gl

Thanks so much. I love this forum.

It's the CV joint. The part will be in tomorrow.

I think I'm going to give it a shot myself. I'm somewhat handy, and after watching a youtube video on the repair, I'm thinking it's not that big of deal.
