Did my first oil change back in late December and now i'm at the 5k mile range. I currently have Mobil 1 Oil Filter with Mobil 1 0W-20. should i stick to it or should i try Castrol Edge with Pure One Oil Filter? Advance has a deal right now for 5qt's of Edge Oil and Pure One for $25 so i'm looking to try it out this time around and see what happens, especially when i've been reading about Mobil 1 getting worse recently. S what should i do?

 

Many people have different opinions what to use on an oil change. I have over 300,000 miles on my 97 Civic and I'm the original owner. I used either Castrol or Valvoline oil with a Fram filter. I changed the oil/filter around 4000 miles. You should at least change your oil two or three times a year.
