Default wheel stud blues

Does anyone know how to go about replacing a wheel stud on a '97 Honda Civic. It's one for the front. Of course the front has disk brakes. I don't want to take the hub/axel out if I don't have to. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks again, Brad

Not sure. But if the knuckle is anything like a 91 crx, your going to have to take the hub off to replace the wheel studs, their is no clearence to even get the bugger out. Their is a few people on ht that say to grind the corner of the wheel stud "the new one" so it will fit in without removing the hub but to me thats dangerous, it loses the structural integrity of the bolt and makes it easier to break again. You dont need a press to get it out just a perfect diameter socket to fit there and a 5lb hammer to knock it out

For the fronts, I believe you will have to remove the hubs and re-pack it in with grease when re-installing. Kinda messy from what I have heard.
