Default Where is coolant bleed bolt

I"m looking for the bleed bolt on a 2000 Civic (D16Y7). I plan to flush my coolant soon. Also, should I change my thermostat now? Its the original and seems to work fine.

I would replace the Tstat with an OEM replacement from Honda. Coolant drain bolt is at the bottom of the radiator. Check some of the DIY guides under Routine Maintenance, too.

I found the drain bolt, but the bleeder (to let air out) is still a mystery.

The bleed bolt is on the back of the block near the oil pressure sensor and the oil filter. It's a pain to loosen, even when you have the engine out of the car... I wouldn't use it. Just raise the front end of the car up and turn the heat on full. Same effect.

The bolt on the back of the engine is to drain the block. There is no air bleed bolt on models after 1996. Run the engine with the radiator cap off to get the air out.
