I friend of mine just got a 99 EX with a factory radio. FM reception is not soo good. Looked for the antenna on the drivers side piller, but there's no hole for an antenna. Did the 99 models have another place for the antenna??

 

Nope, thats where it went from 88 to 2000. If its not there it was shaved. youll need some kind of windsheild antenna. Check with a local audio shop and they should be able to help you out.

 

Its glass mounted. Ive got a '00 the 99-00 were all glass mounted. Although I think the HX had a antenna wire coming out of it.
