Default Won't Start --- Project failing >:O

Alright, got the coolant hole plugged up. Just got a piece of hose, hose clamped it to the block and put a giant bolt through the other end. --- I went to start the car and all I get is a suttle "click"... When I put my foot on the clutch and turn to the start position it just clicks somewhere up under the dash around the clutch. When i release the clutch I get an even more suttle "click". ----- HELP! I know the car is timed right. I timed it dynamically myself. Anyone who has been helping me through my engine replacement project will know what I am working with. --- Thanks everyone. Refer to "Engine Replacement Question" or "Transmission Linkage" to find out the specifics on my situation if you are new to my project! Thanks!

Haynes suggests it might be the clutch not fully depressed, which to me means CLUTCH CABLE... Let me hash this diagnostic out... brb wit update on clutch adjustment.

Did you hook up ALL the ground wires? and the ground from the engine harness that connects to the thermostat housing?

I checked and double checked before you suggested but i'll tripple check again. I'm also going to let the battery charge for a bit. I can only see two wires that are disc. --- The A/C Wires. One attached to the A/C pump thinger and the other to the a/c line.

Well, I have all inside lights like before, still wont click after about 15/20 minutes of charging from another car. Just the clicks... :/

Note: This car did not have any spark problems before me tearing it apart. It must be something simple! Remember: Long block I purchased was a jap. motor.

Well if you have the engine ground hooked up to the wrong place (i.e. something that's insulated) then it won't start. are you using the same ECU as before? do you hear the fuel pump running?

ARGH... Where's the "ENGINE" ground? Yes. ecu is same as before. Only thing that's jap is the block up. Also, the ground is hooked up from the battery to the engine, is that the right place? It's grounded off the transmission cable bracket.

Probably connects your valve cover to your radiator support
