Need help, have a 01 civic coup looking to lower but don’t want to lose the smooth ride that it has now. I have 16” rims that I’m going to put on. Should I go with a tall tire and not drop it so much and still get the lowered look?

 

I wouldn't drop it too much if you're planning to keep the ride quality. You simply can't go with something cheap for this drop. Do NOT do coilover sleeves as that will ruin the ride. Get a kit like Koni shocks with H&R springs or something of similar quality. Don't drop too much and you'll be happy.
