Hey everyone, just joined today, Drive a 2000 F-350 Diesel, power's good, but umm, I just put $123 in the tank and get at best 16 mpg, its time for a daily driver. I've been looking into the 08 civic EX's, my question is, can you guys offer me some reviews, whats your average mpg, hows the EX stereo (only test driven an LX) And are there any problems or good surprises that you've found since buying? i own a 07 Civic EX coupe:

gas is great on this thing, since it's sorta new; i'm getting about 30mpg+ in the city
the car has a 13 gallon tank, and of course takes regular unleaded.

i love the appearance on this thing, especially the steering wheel and the digital speedometer

and if u get an EX, it's standard for good quailty sounds; 7 speakers and a sub = around 350 watts?

well it'll be better if u look at the car at the honda website, or visit a dealership. from my opinion, car is fantastic.

btw: i thought the civic came standard with 8 disc changer, etc. i was proven wrong, but then again, who uses cds nowadays?

 

i have an 06 ex witha few bolt ons and a i get 33 city, and 38-42 hwy(depending on weather).
I really dont mean to hate on honda because i love my car, but its rattle box. i have lifter knock on my engine and there are quite a few recalls and tsbs.
If you want a civic(which i do recommend) get one of the previous years.
Dont take this the wrong way, i will drive nothing but honda/acura, but I feel honda let me down this time. They look great and perform great, but lots of small annoying problems(not speaking of the si engine as it is far superior to the r18a1)
