My 86 Special Edition Prelude wuz smucked by an F-150, can I swap my 1.6 for the 12V 2L that was in the 'Lude. I have been told that the 12V can actually flow better than a 16V, is that just a story or true? Has anyone tried such a conversion?

 

No I havent't heard about that swap yet.I am sure It can be done.Welcome to the forum.Its how you look at the valves more is better but more things to go wrong.

 

what kind of car do you want to swap it into? if its anything newer than an 88 i say its not worth your time, because modern fuel injecton and beter designed engines make more power with less engine.

 

It would be goin' into a 94 CX, I thought it would be a viable option, as I have it built pretty stout. Would I be better to sell both motors and get a questionable one (cuz these are pampered) or sell the D15 and just deal with the engineering feats. Or....ideas,please
