depends on what you have done to your car

they're mainly to help boost the performance of other mods, but not that helpful for unbuilt motors

btw, this is in the wrong section, and don't make two consecutive posts about very similar items, just use the edit button.

I'm also new to this forum, and because of the current lack of response, I'd like to field the question, as I'm in nearly the same position.

Where do you want to go with this car? What goals do you have? If you want this to be about half project/sleeper/ricer, half daily commuter, then go for it. That's a rather inexpensive route to take to see quick hp gains. After you do those things, you should look for a cat-back exhaust system. They tell you on here that the quickest thing to do to see hp gains is let your engine breathe. These things are pretty universal concepts to all years and engines.

If you want this to be an all project car (essentially, and at least for now), then I suggest looking into an engine swap. You should also assess how much money you want to sink into the engine you've got if you're planning on swapping it soon anyway.
