Info required Civic 97 EX 150i

Default Info required Civic 97 EX 150i

Got a 97 Civic EX 150i with a d15z4 engine. and its quite slow, can anyone tell me how many HP there is in that engine? and what I can do to boost it up a little with a very small budget? in almost every forum people say d series engines sucks but well can't aford to swap now

Welcome aboard! First off, D-series motors don't suck, as long as they're done up right. Do some searching around this forum, especially the "Required Reading for Newbies." There are also a few sticky threads about "what mods to do first" and that sort of thing. Let us know if you need any other help!

Welcome to the forum!!! And no the D series does not suck, it has plenty of potential just read around theres lots of info about building up a D motor.

yeah I've seen a lot bout how to build up a D engine but everything seems to be around d16 and not d15 which is the one I have. Anyone know how many hp I get from that engine without any mods? some places I see 114 and other places 105 which one is true?
