Default New Member - Need Advice

Hey guys, I'm new to this site. I currently own a 2002 BMW 330Ci and a '95 Crapalier (winter beater). I'm looking at replacing the winter beater next spring with the 2006 Si. From everything that I've read about the new Si, it should be a great car. I'm still trying to figure out if I'm going to buy or lease so if anyone has advice, I'm all ears.

Here are a few pics of my ride:

nice BMW, i love the trunk set up on that..did you do the work yourself?...the new 06 are nice cars, some people on here got some already and say they love them, some other people say that since the 06 has a new style all around, its bound to have some little problems with it...and since its a winter beeter anyways,i would just get youself a 04 with low km..save some money
oh ya and welcome to the site[sm=hiya.gif]

I'm not planning on getting anything until either this spring or next fall. The Crapalier will get me thru this winter and then it will be sold off.

I've actually never leased a vehicle before, every car I've had I've owned, but leasing looked attractive since I can do a 2 or 3 year lease and be done with the car. Any specifics why you feel that leasing is crap?

Its a complete rip off. Sort of like the scam that the stealerships pull on you when you 'trade' in a car. THey buy it for wholesale, even if the damn car was 100% spoon'ed out. I would personally snag an 99-00 Si. With the cash left over you could have the fastest civic in your town. Thats what is great about Hondas, they dont take much money to make em haul ***. Anyway, thats a hella Bimmer you got there! Welcome to the forum.

Thanks man!

I didn't do the trunk myself, I paid a shop to do it. Since then, I've rewired the entire system, the shop didn't do a good job with this. All the other mods that I did to the car were done by myself (ex: sway bars, strut brace, short shift kit, Carbon Fiber trim, etc.)

Luckily I have plenty of time to figure out what I want to do. Thanks for the advice.
