Hey, just dropping a line to say "hi" I'm completely new to Hondas but ive heard great stuff about reliability and whatnot, I'm in the process of purchasing a 92 civc hathback for a project vehicle and really have no idea where to start. any suggestions would be appreciated thx.

As for suggestions.... how much money do you have? what kind of power would you like to be making? do you only want power adders, appearance mods or a little of both?, and how much experience working with cars do you have?

I believe it to be a dx. at some point i will post pictures for it. as far as money to throw at it, im just going to take my time. it runs great now and i have no real intentions on putting a turbo in it yet (no clue on converting costs for 1) has anyone had an issue with civics not starting if its really hot outside? the seller told me of this and i'm kinda drawing a blank on what is the cause. as far as experience i worked as a lube jockey for jiffylube and have replaced head gaskets on down to simple air filter replacements. right now im concentrating on insuring its drivability and reliability.

 

i cant think of why it wouldnt start on hot days... i know its not normal...
