Default b16a boost questions

hi, right now i have a 92 civic four door with a b16a which is mostly stock except for a cold air intake and cat back exhaust, i plan on buying a turbo kit for the car soon but some of the ones i've looked at dont include engine management or any fuel system upgrades, my question what do i need to get for my fuel system i want to make about 250whp on about 10 to 15 pounds of boost and some people have told me the turbo im looking at will be more than sufficient but im not sure about the fuel system or engine management, any help i could get would be greatly appreciated, thanks

chipped p28 w/hondata s300 if you have the money or chipped p28 w/crome which is cheaper...but the greddy kit comes with emanage but its crap it blew my motor and others as well. 450cc injectors will get you there and upgrading the fuel pump. 10lbs will get you to your goal how big of a turbo you planning on running..

I agree with pretty much everything he^ said.

Look into Precision 440cc injectors. They're a great value injector; they cost less than RC and still work just as good.

However, if you plan on going much over 250whp in the future I would get 525cc injectors.

Upgrade to a Walbro 255LPH fuel pump.

For tuning get a chipped ECU and basemap for your setup so you can hopefully drive to your tuner. Once you get there he'll take care of the rest... for some $$$.

Most of the times I have heard of E-manage blowing engines is from people either not tuning right or just trying to run the E-manage with the settings straight out of the box.

However, I do still agree... chipped P28/tune>piggyback

hey thanks for the help guys, so i wont need to upgrade my fuel rail then? and one last question if i end up swapping to a b18c will i need a different manifold? i have been told i wont as the heads on those motors have to same size exhaust and intake ports, is that true? would it b worth it to swap to the bigger motor or should i just upgrade my turbo later on down the road?

Yea i'm pretty sure you'd need a different manifold if you were to do that.
It's not worth swapping what you have for that, keep it.

well u have a b16a right so a p30 ecu is necessary anyway on crome u can make plenty of hp on the stock map sensor aka more than 200whp its cheap to use crome ish so research and find the answers for what u want
