depending on how much $$$$$ you can invest, 500whp is a HUGE accomplishment in that car.... you would need well, too much to list.... but i am a big fan of the B20 block and B16 head.... many parts available.... great power, high reving.... sleeve it with all forged internals...save your money on the aftermarket crank(keep the stock crank) and put some stainless steel(or titanium if you got the $$$) valves with titanium retainers and duel valve springs and you could turbo that engine making great power all the way up to aprx 8K.... with 300 lbs of tourque you could be runnnig low 11's... possibly 10's
to get to 500 whp you would need an S load of boost and some proffesional tuning.
