Boost and VTEC ?

i saw a dyno test on a turbo LS, and then the same exact setup with a vtec head swap. it gained like 40+ hp.

my friend has a 93 dx with a b16a2 with a rev hard stage 2 t3/t4 in it. He just got done with everything and now is ripping it all out or selling his car for a type r. (oh before i forget.. ne one interested in a full rev hard stage 2 kit? 2500$) With his new fuel pump the noise it made was loud as hell, and he got sick of it.. and the turbo lag in the 1/4 mile. (Well.. its either sell it.. or spend another 8 grand and send it down to texas and have it bored to 1.9 and rebuild the engine completely so it can take 20 psi all day and a nice shot of nitrous everyonce too)

if was going to turbo any engine.. itd be a b18c1.. rather than the b16.. spend another 500-600 bucks for 20 hp, 15 tq and the lower compresion that makes for easy and accurate tuning.
oh.. dont forget that to make any turbo car go fast.. it takes alot of money.. (turbo exhaust is a bitch) besides just the turbo to make it go fast. anywho.. let us know what u do.

For turbocharging, I agree with LS > B16, but for anything else (all-motor, SC), I'd take the B16.

Not me the B16 has one of the worse tq curves of any motor I have ever seen
