i have a 04 si w greddy turbo kit. i added the intercooler. the kit does not come with a bov. do i need one? and 9if so where do i get the pipe for it?

 

I can't believe that the Greddy kit did not come with a b.o.v. If you care about the longevity of your turbo you should get one. Because once you let off the throttle all of that compressed air is going to have no where else to go except back down to the turbo and eventually ruin it. Once you get some type of b.o.v. you can mount it ether on the charge pipe leading to your intake manifold or right on your intercooler. Get it welded on your buy some pipe that has a pre fitted section for it.

 

yes you need to invest in a bov, it releases the pressure before it gets down to the tubo so it makes the turbo life much longer.....

BOV's are very important!!! Barking your turbo all day long will cause shaft failure... trust me, I know first hand LOL.
