Default Cheap turbo kit, is it worth it? or just junk?

Hey, I have a 98 civic Lx with the 1.6 SOHC. i've been shopping for a cheap turbo kit for 6 months or so now. I want to build a good daily driver that's pretty quick too. I came accross the Vecco kit and that doesn't seem bad but then recently while shopping i found this kit

click me

What do you guys think of this one? Would i be better off going with the Vecco kit or for a low boost drivin around town car will less expensive kit do just as well?

be careful of ebay kits, I would put together my own kit before buying one with junk in it. Look in the DIY section, and the pete's turbo grocery list post will give you some pointers.

thanks for the tips, yeah i know ebay can be scary. I priced everything out a few times for piecing things together but i feel as though i'm looking in the wrong places.. always end up with a price tag of 1500-2000 for average parts. I feel like i spend my life on the phone or online shopping for parts to get the best bang for my buck. At this point i'm just looking for a good kit that will handle 6-8 psi well

swap first, i would rather do a motor swap then to spend close to the same amount of money your goin to have into the turbo kit

I thought about the swap. looked at a lot of motors that JDM had to offer and it would be great to drop a 190hp engine with an lsd transmission but it's not about that at all. I love turbochargers but have never had the privillage of owning a turbo car or installing one. So a swap is out of the question. i'm installing mostly full internals on my engine and not to run the hell out of it but to make it last as long as possible and produce a good amount of power. I think i'm going to go with the vecco kit. Seems to have a lot of good stuff and from what i've read on here they're worth while.
