You can get a new one from honda but it will cost alot. I got mine used with about 53,xxx miles on it.

 

When you say alot how much are u talking? a major difference then if it were to be used or nah, still under 500?

 

I don't know for sure because I never price stuff at the stealership. If I was guess I would say that it would be over $500.

 

Damn...and if i was to go along with that, would my intake still fit on my engine or would adding the mini me change the direction of the piping?

 

You should be able to use your same intake.

 

i think what i may do is maybe put the mini me to the side for now...ill get my headers then throw in my pistons...see how that works out for me...but im not trying to build a "racecar"...when i first bought my car i was not planning on doing anything to make it quicker, i was just gonna rim it up and have a nice sounding system...i got obsessed with my car and now i want to make it a little quicker but i dont need to be running like 12 seconds or anything, just a little something to give me more kick, and not get smoked when ever i race someone on the high way haha

 

I would definatly go with a turbo, i know you don't want to but allow me. You drive a car with very low displacement. The V8 guys can just build thier motors and get massive gains. Us import guys don't have this luxury, because if you are building a N/A there really isn't a replacement for displacement. But if you are gonna turbo it, there is a replacement for displacement, volumetric effiecency (thx Kappa).

 

what is everything you need when u turbo ur car???the products, tuning, installation, it adds up...i mean it snot that much to u guys, but im young and have a **** job which pays *****...it took me forever to get what i have no lol as weak as that is...im nto trying to make it as fast as it can go, i just wanna have a decently quick civic to keep up lol...im tired of losing little street races!

 

Talk to Pete (pcupo) he knows alot about this stuff. He can piece together a turbo for you pretty quick. Im 17, prolly more broke than you. I don't even have a civic, my dad has one i drive and what not. I could turbo his car with the money i've saved from the last couple years. But im saving up to get swap a build GSR motor (dont' have a civic to swap it into yet).
