Okay this guy is selling a turbo...it is a garret i think and he said he would give me a intercooler, a BOV, and all the other acceriers that i need to hook it up...He said that the turbo would probalby run on 8psi....He said he would only need around 800 for it.... He also said there was about 2k miles on it which isnt that bad.......so my questions is...Should i take this deal or do you think this guy is tryin to take me?....

 

well what else is he giving you, he should be giving you a manifold that fits your motor. also what is the trim size and the a/r size on the turbo? i would ask the guy if there is any shaft play, oil leaks and stuff with the turbo. i would just make sure i would know what he is giving you. if you could tell us what else he is giving you, it would help. thanks

 

Well all he said is its a garret and it would run about 8 psi..im gunna go look at it friday...but he said he doesnt run his car hard or anything but u know about that.....but i mean say everything is in good shape..does this sound like a good deal...Also he said that i would get about 175 to the wheels with it..so idk...

 

Find out what it is before you buy it, Garrett has a gigantic line of turbo's and all of them are different.

and that's why noone should ever buy a used WRX or EVO... lol.
