Default NITROUS system on 96 CIVIC

This will be my first mod, but is it worth buying this nitrous system without any previous engine mods. Obviously I know I will get more hp gain. Will it hurt my engine/motor in any way? WIll it give me more gains than your I/H/E setup.

Its from NITROUS EXPRESS and sells for $710

so you're going to spend $710 and than $40-upevery time you need to fill up. Plus it's illegal to drive with the system hooked up. Look-up local laws on nitrous. In the long run you'll be much happier with a turbo set-up.

since you did not mention what size of a "shot" you were thinking of using or some more specs on the kit, i'm thinking you should do some more research on nitrous systems before you buy one.

we are not trying to put you down just trying to keep you from f***** up your car and wasting money.

^ for $710 you could be well on your way to piecing together a turbo kit, which requires no bottle refills and is legal to have on your daily driver. With a mild enough kit you could be running on stock internals, in other words no previous engine mods.

and like the other guys said, research research research

i think it is a good idea. A 50-75 shot won't hurt just make sure its dry. I looked into a turbo and if you want to do it right with out going to homemadeturbo.com your looking at at least 1500.

75 is a bad idea and a wet or direct port is better than dry.

nitrous on a 96 civic is a horrible idea all together, a stock civic is an economy car, have fun blowin the motor.
