chris i thought ur engine was toast? and OP sed d15, i thought ur car was d16z6? anyway, good luck to everybody on the boosted builds. i cant afford them!

Oh, D15B. You don't need to shim the oil pump then, I don't think.

How do you end up wiring the VTEC solenoid?

Do you have the stock plug plugged into the VTEC solenoid's green/yellow wire?

Okay. With it the way you have it it's basically set up like a D16Y8... but probably the wrong VTEC engagement point (I say this because you said it kicked real hard when VTEC engaged). This will be adjusted by your tuner when you get it tuned. You'll need a P28 ECU and an ECU conversion harness to be able to get tuned (OBD2 computers can't be tuned).
