ohh ok!
and what i did was just got to old wiring addapter from the old vtec and pulled off the wiring addapter from the d15b and then put the old addapter on the new engine. and plugged it in to the actual wires. and left the other vtec wires alone. if that makes sense. i really dont want to mes with the other one much because it looks like there is an oil line going to the main vtec and there isnt one going to the seccond vtec and i am afraid it will mess things up if i mess with it.
what do you think will happen if i swith the addapters and plug in the un used vtec instead of the vtec that plugs in already?

Okay. With it the way you have it it's basically set up like a D16Y8... but probably the wrong VTEC engagement point (I say this because you said it kicked real hard when VTEC engaged). This will be adjusted by your tuner when you get it tuned. You'll need a P28 ECU and an ECU conversion harness to be able to get tuned (OBD2 computers can't be tuned).
