Default some turbo questions

im doing a y7 -y8 mini me. i was wondering what type of pistions would be good for a turbo setup.
im probably looking into the 10-1 cr . and is there a boost controller that will let me easily choose my psi. like when im driving to work or whatever i can make low boost and when im gunna race someone i can change it quickly to like 12-15 psi? that would be awesome. sry i dont know much about turbos.

OH and what is dome volume on pistons. Dome Volume: -4.6 - Dome Volume: -12.4 . on some pistons i want to buy.

You don't need a boost controller, just limit your right foot. Dome volume is the amount of dome a piston has.

i was looking at boost controllers the other day and they are about $150+. id recommend getting one if you have the money for one. they will help control how much psi your running and you won't have to worry as much as to how much psi your running. just be careful when you get one because if its electronic then its super easy to turn the psi up and if you turn it up too much, then bye bye interals.

You can make a boost controller for way cheaper than that... you just need a solenoid, a hobbs switch, and some wire.

i dont know chris, if your just getting into boost, you might not want to tackle making a boost controller. Honestly, a manual one can be found for a reasonable price, but if you want to go fancy, i was just looking at Apex-i's electronic boost controller today, and it is SWEET.

^ agreed, if you are just getting into turboing a car, then your not going to know much about making a boost controller, but if its easy then just do a write up about it pwnedu
