Default Tuning...

Alright I've been reading on here about turbo set ups and everything, I always come across, "Any set up is fine just need a good tune." or something along those lines. What does it mean to "tune" a car for a turbo? Is it like getting new injectors or pistons or something?

a tune is chipping your ecu in the car. Reprogramming the ecu on a dyno with a wideband until you get nice air/fuel ratios and adjust your timing with the amount of boost and when it comes on.

Agood tune makes your boosted car reliable and extracts all the power out of your setup.

I remember someone on this forum once saying "The tune is where is most of your power is made"which is very, very true.
