Default Turbo

Alright, here's the deal, I'm saving up for a turbo kit for my '03 civic EX. But right now, I have enough for headers and an exhast, which I want to put in before the turbo. Is there a certain kind of headers or exhast I should get, so that I don't have to replace them once i turbocharge the car? Then, how much horsepower will the above modifications add to the car. Right now all i have is an AEM SRI.

well when you get your turbo kit, you will get a header for that, so i wouldnt go that route...and i would just wait to get a cat-back until you get your turbo, because with NO turbo you would go like 2.25" tubing and WITH a turbo, you will go like 3" tubing for your cat-back...so decide what you wanna do.

if you dont have a cat back right now, i would go with that first and then save your money. when you get into a turbo project, you dont know how much you need because of certain odd and end stuff.

Don't touch anything, when you get the turbo kit, run open DP for a while until you can find the money to run a full 2.5/3" exhaust setup. You will need a custom downpipe, and it's a lot easier to make the exhaust work correctly when the turbo is on already.

You will throw your header away with a turbo setup, so don't bother buying them.
