What kind of turbo would you put in a 99 civic hatchback dx?

lol. It's a valid question. Depending on what you're looking for powerwise/what RPM it spools at there are various turbo sizes you would want. I can't answer that question as I don't know that specific information about which turbos produce what power and when they spool. I can tell you though that bigger turbos produce more power at 8psi compared to a smaller turbo at 8psi. However, the bigger the turbo, the longer the spool lag. Do some searching to figure out which turbo would best suit your needs.

It says for integra but same principles apply, depending on the turbo manifold, and turbo size there are different fitting arrangements you'll need to figure out. Some are easier than others, some require getting rid of A/C, power steering, and even cutting off some metal on the tranny.

Well i won't have to worry about power stearing or a/c since it is a dx which doesn't have either of those.

The car used to have a turbo in it. My friend took it with him though.

did he also take his injectors and ecu or are you running on a tune for boost?

yea if you have no a/c or p/s, you could easily fit many various turbo sizes in there. Research and figure out what you want and what your goals are.
