ok...im workin on my stock engine....found a turbo kit for my stock engine....if i have no other modifications is ok to go ahead and putthe kit on or is it a bad idea?

 

you can put it on if you know what you are doing. what kind of kit is it?

 

You dont even have an intake or header? You should consider adding a couple hundred more bucks and add them in too, you'll be happy with it.

 

what car/motor do you have? You should be ok to boost most stock honda motors but you seem like you dont know a whole lot about what your about to get yourself into. I would suggest researching a TON before getting into boosting a stock motor. I have been planning on a turbo for almost a year now and I still dont know everything I probably should know.

 

You dont use an intake or a header on a turbo project

 

they become your exhaust mani and down pipe and charge piping

nice its got the bov flange prewelded on the charge piping you might wanna upgrade to a chipped ecu in the future for some good reliability
