wow, maybe i should start my own thread, but are you saying then since i have emissions testing (CO, not as bad as CA, but they still test), which would preclude me from using an obd1 ecu (I think anyway), then i can't do FI? even a JRSC?

i thought you could still be emissions legal even if you put an aftermarket turbo on your car.

that's what i thought, but if the only way to do it is to use an OBD1 ecu, i don't think that will fly in CO.

well damn, guess i have to do the JRSC instead of turbo. i like the turbo because i could get more power eventually if i wanted to, but i guess this makes my decision for me.

its not about the psi u wanna run, its about the hp u want to achieve, id jus swap in an ls motor rather than boost but thats just me, paying someone to install a turbo can be pricey depending on the shop, a shop nearm e wants $900 for the install and thats not including fuel management, dependingon what program u want to run crome, neptune or hondata ur fuel managanement costs can easily exceed $500..... so think before u do it, also things can go wrong, swapping in a motor is just a safer way to go , id say after its al said and done ud probably be sepdning around $3k for the parts, install and fuel management , thats just my opinion tho, and ur also probably going to have to purchase and obd1 conversion harness since ur obd2

why not go the route of a stand alone plug n play like AEM. Its a little expensive but it owuld be worth it
