What size turbo?
I've been looking at some t3/t4's but i want to know if any one is running a bigger turbo with lower boost making the same or more hp.
So can some of you write down your set ups for me?

Thanks!

I can't list a setup as I haven't had a boosted civic, but I think I can still contribute a little bit.
Really, a t3/t4 would be the largest turbo I'd throw on a civic if driveability was a concern; any larger and you're looking at a lot of turbo lag. Because the t3/t4 is a hybrid turbo, it's able to use a small turbine that spools up quickly to turn a relatively large compressor, meaning more boost at a lower engine speed.
What engine are you looking at getting for the ej1 and what kind of power do you want to be sitting at?

I figured the t3/t4 would be the best bet. It would be going on a b18b. Would a low compression rebuild be a good idea for that?
I've heard of people buying t3/t4's off of evo owners whenever they replace their stock turboes.
Thanks for the help!

The turbo you're thinking of that comes off the Evo is a Mitsubishi 16G turbo. It's a fairly large turbo, but you should still have no real lag issues with it.
With a b18, you could possibly step it up a little larger than a standard t3/t4 and still retain pretty good driveability. Also, you could try to find a .60 trim t3/t4; it's a little larger than the standard .50 or .57 trim t3/t4's, but it's also more expensive and harder to find.
And the CR for the b18b1 is 9.2:1. You shouldn't really need much lower compression to run a good amount of boost, as the CR is already fairly low.
