Who's got a turbo, what kind and how much?
I have a 02' EX sedan and was thinking about a turbo and wanted to know where to get a complete kit or piece it for together. If I get one, I want it to be reliable. What's better, kit or piece it and cound you throw out some figures for them? Where and what all should I be looking for?

Better? That's a whole argument in and of itself. For reliability's sake I would have to say kit, but there is even room afor argument there, but only to the fact that a pieced together kit is no less reliable than a kit.
Kit- $2500. Pretty much bolt-on. All the components are sure to work together. No fabbing. Keep A/C and PS.
Piece together- ~$1000 + patience and expertise. Probably have to lose at least the AC and maybe even PS. Fab manifold and a couple of flanges probably. Mismatched components.
LEVIII is piecing one together right now. So is Koholznik.

i just got a complete greddy kit for 1300, used, but great condition. Just keep a look out on ebay. Stay away from anything that seems too good to be true. I.E.......ssautochrome. Ive never used their stuff.....but havent heard 1 good remark. Also dont wanna do business with someone who insults their customers in their feedback.

For reliability id say go with greddy. I dont understand what u meant in ur above post about having parts match. I bought a complete used greddy kit from someone.....it was made for a D series motor.....which is what i got. The kit i have is worth over 2K. Just be patient and ull find a good one.
You dont want a huge turbo. The greddy 15G and 19T are perfect for our motors. They spool pretty fast, and for little hairdryers they can lay down some impressive numbers........but of course thats where engine building and tuning come into play. For safe reliable turbo id say to go greddy. I will let u kno how mine is doing........im waiting on a fellow member to send me my Greddy Emanage FMU so i can install my kit.

yea get a kit man. I installed the Intercooler and it all bolts on so easily. All the parts find a way to meet eachother. Its so much easier. Id rather spend an extra 2-300 on a complete kit, than running around all over looking for this and that.
