I really like the 2011-2012 Hyundai's One big seller to me is a timing chain rather than the rubber band as most use. The cost is way under Honda, Toyota, Subaru, etc. !0 Year 100,000 mileage warranty.
I think they are some of the nicest looking of all the newer vehicles. I have almost bought one a couple of times, but my 90 Civic is still going so until it gives up I will drive it.

Toyotas, Hondas, and Subarus hold their value way more than Kia/Hyundai. The 10 year warranty is sort of a joke because you will pass the 100 k mark easily in SoCal in about 4 years. The Subaru would be my choice if I wanted a factory turbo equipped car.
