and its funny how you can sit there and insist the Supra wasnt racing when you can clearly see the front of it come up under acceleration. and im sure a lot of guys videotape cars coming up next to them and taking off.

That civic may be a world shaker and a 1/4 mile demon, and a street racing legend at this forum, but he didn't pull 200 feet on a supra in 3 sec.

if a 10 second civic did a 60 kick on the freeway, that 110mph figure you threw out earlier is way too conservative. i mean a 14 second car that hits about 60mph at the 8th can get around 100 in about another 5 seconds. so a 10 second car can conceiveably hit well over 110 in a few seconds. i dont understand how you can sit there convincing yourself otherwise.

and count again, from the time they dropped the hammer, it was about 6 seconds till he even cleared the back bumper. and after that (while the civic was already moving faster and hooked up) in another 3 seconds, there were about 2-4 car lengths, no more. not 200 ft by any means.

The rate of exceleration decreases as speeds increase.
So it was 114 mph..........happy?
Still doesn't change the fact the dude in the Supra was chillin...........and NOT racing.

I assumed when I saw a street racing vid that it was "kids".
