A tuner posted a vid of street racing?

yikes......

I have a pretty good hunch that before long they will be having a "going outa bizz sale"

They may be the #1 tuner in the world, and may build the best race cars in the world, BUT I can't fathom a bizz owner posting a street racing vid, and think that they are making a smart bizz decesion.

wow......

I see their www site has 3 street racing vids for the PUBLIC to view.

Oh my..........

In looking at their site, they have some VERY good prices for dyno tunes. I have no idea the quality if their work, but will assume they know what they are doing.

I can tell you for a full dyno tune along with a lap top street tune, and then a dyno re-tune, I normaly pay 350/400 dollars. The prices they have posted seem much cheaper.

no I don't. I am old as dirt, and have out grown cars of that class.

BUT some of my fondest memories are messing with cars when I was much younger. When i was growing up, my "ride" was a pinto that that I duct taped a 302 into. It would fly. Broke
down 50% of the time hahahahaha. Reminds me of the majority of the "rides" i read about on here.

I am older then 99% of the people who post here, but I enjoy seeing people (kids) have fun with cars. Hell we would all have a stable of Super Cars if we could. I know I sure as he11 can't afford that. So you get what ever you can afford and you make the most of it you can. As you get older you get better and faster cars. But mark my words you BEST MEMORIES, will NOT be of the new off the floor show room screamer you bought as your "dream car", your BEST memories will be the piece of $hit, you modded and had fun with as you grew up.

An older friend of mine when I was in HS (I was a soph he was a sr) had this mustard colored GRAN TORINO....... what a boat.

This thing was a beast. Pure stock, burned a qt. of oil about every 200 miles.

Anyhow, he would always pass the school bus (we lived in the country), like a ricer does a fly by now days.

One day he dropped his front left tire off the pavement as he passed the bus, as he jerked it back onto the road he slammed into teh side of the schoo, bus doing 45-50 mph.

Lord i rolled laughing.

He sold that pile, and bought a lime green pinto station wagon. I then bought my white hatchback (what a piece of crap). We both had about 2000 in our cars, and 3000 in the sound systems.......

I then put a 302 in mine...........and then he did the same.

We had some wild times.

I had that car until about 1983. At that point in time the VEttes were dogs.........real puppies. I loved doing fly bys on them.

Oh btw, i see you locked a thread I was posting in.

Damn.........

that sucks.

civel is such a broad term.........so hard to define.

Heck I thought things were going well, the way they were.

TRUST me, your PM box will be smoking if I start to REALLY TRY to upset people.

But I wouldn't do that......

well atleast not at first.

Locked is prolly best.
