it's nice... I'm not used to it lol... it's only a v6, so it's not like I'm getting sucked back into the seat like a 5.0 foxbody or anything... but it's still way more than my civic would ever have n/a... I think the 232 puts out a little more than 200 ft/lbs of torque (not to mention 190hp for the 99-04s)

Oh i know what you mean, i used to have an 89 camaro rs with a modified motor and man that thing would hold you back on the seat. Eveeryone that was in the car would get scared when i would punch it. But even on my friends v6 mustang i felt some nice torque

yeah, for what it is, it's pretty powerful (I'm sure other companies could do better than 200hp with 3.8 liters though... ). If you let the clutch out too fast turning at stop signs/traffic lights, the back tires will let you know lol... I'm not saying the back end will kick out (I'm sure it will if you drop the clutch), but you'll hear the tires chirp

I'm having a hard time deciding what I want to do with the 'stang though... because honestly, I'm giving serious consideration into dumping a good bit of money into it (I wish roush parts weren't so d**m expensive)... but then I'm not sure I'd be able to afford a 240sx... I'd really like to stick to my original plan of keeping it stock and modding the f**k out of an s13 hatch, but like addiction said, stock is for losers lol... it's going to be hard not to mod the mustang just a little (I've had the car for under a week and I've already taken the slack out of the throttle cable (that some ford engineer thought would be a good idea on the 96-04 stangs [:@] ).

^ lol... true. But my parents wouldn't let me get an s13 because they're "too old to be reliable"... and here's some advice to anyone getting their first car that might read this: make sure the car's in your name! The civic was in my dad's name, meaning I couldn't sell it if he didn't want me to... and my parents pretty much knew I'd be buying an older car if I sold the civic and bought what I wanted... so I basically had to get a car my parents approved of, and I couldn't think of any other rwd cars I liked that were made in this century lol

rwd > fwd

mpg is what my sportbike is for... even when I upshift at 10k rpm, I still get gas mileage numbers in the mid/upper 30's (and I usually shift around 5k if I'm just trying to get from point a to b, so I usually get in the mid-40 mpg's)

and civic_burns_all, I'm probably going to keep the 'stang almost completely stock... for two reasons (one of them is new as of today)...

1: I'm going to try to find a 240sx hatch while I'm at wyotech, and then I'm going to mod the f**k out of that, so I'm going to save my money (I'm hoping to find a 240 for under $1k... I'll probably be able to since i'm not in a huge hurry)

2 (the new reason): I've decided I want to do some custom work on my bike:
[ul][*]I'm going to modify the headlight assembly to work with a set of projector headlight high/low beams (so I need a set of projector headlights from a car and I need a spare headlight assembly from a cbr) - approx. cost: $300-$500[*]I plan on finding a used rear seat and fiberglassing it to make a custom rear cowl (I never ride 2-up anyway) - approx. cost: $30-$50[*]I'm going to re-paint the whole thing ultra-flat black next winter - approx. cost: $50[*]I need a new front-upper fairing... my d**m one cracked when road debris hit it on a ride two weekends ago... right now I have zip-tie stitches holding it together (honestly, it looks kind of badass lol) - approx. cost: $150-$300[*]I need a new helmet, and I need a riding jacket and gloves - approx. cost: $500-$550[/ul]So I'm going to be dumping between $1,000-$3,000 on my bike (hopefully closer to the $1,000 mark) in the next year... my stimulus check should be here soon, and I'll have at least $1,000 to play with from my car, so I should be good
