they could have had some sort of fuse or somethin to blow it up, not that hard to rig up real fast.

Almost all Hollywood explosions that are still done physically or composited are done with gasoline. Gives that lovely orange glow and a bunch of smoke.

my friends and i used to do that kind of stuff, i dont have any videos of them doing it but we would go through like 15 gallons of gas a few gallons of diesel and another friend used to steal cans of butane from the restaurant that they worked at and blew them up. We have blown up tanks of propane, two pickup trucks, and a camper. good times and but a lot of people had caught on fire. Good thing we partied by the pond.

 

10 gallons of gas...a few road flares and a 30pack of beer.... sounds like a hell of a time... I'M IN!!!!!
