4 wheel disc conversion ?
Does anybody know if the brakebooster and master cyl. have to be changed if you bolt 99 civic si rear disc set on a 96 civic ex with drum brakes. I've heard both yes and no, but nobody has any details on their answers.

Here's the deal, you don't HAVE to change the bosster/cylinder, but your pedal will be kinda low. But this is only true for the EX...any other model and you HAVE TO do it or it's unsafe.

cool thanx for info. I got a good deal at a local junk yard on everything off the rear of a wrecked si . the whole front clip of the car was already gone, maybe i can find a booster and cyl at another junk yard.

truthfully in fact is u really dun hafta change the master cyclinder if your goin rear si brakes..i have rear si brakes and gsr fronts..in my 91 civic dx hatch..don't get me wrong my pedal is low..but my braking power is great..i've been suggested to get it..but really haven't...i still have my stock dx master cyclinder..but in otherwords..u don't have to change it right away but in the longrun..
