thank you! i will post pictures of it soon. and sorry i didnt mean to offend anyone haha i was just aggravated that that was the first response i got, and not saying that girls dont konw anything about cars..its just that i specifically dont

ok well if you have that mind set that your a girl and dont know much.... does that mean you can do work as well?


if you dont think you can do it then i would take it to a shop that does free diagnostics and have them check it out.....

well i took it to the oil changing place and the guy from the shop said it is the left front axle boot or something that needs to be replaced cause its rubbing and wearing away and its going to cost 350 dollars. is he trying to rip me off??

umm, well, the parts would be cheap, but the labor could get the price that high.

Did you get a printed estimate? what did it say? A new axle is about $60-75 in parts, and an hour of labor

nah that guy was definitely trying to rip me off so my boyfriends friend that used to work for honda is going to fix it for like fifty dollars and he said that part would be around 70.

$350 for an axle replacement is a ripoff. that job would take no more than 20mins at a shop, i see it done practically every day. either way, hope the new axle solves the problem.
