So My civic needs rotors and brakes soon but I am really unfamiliar with performance brands. I mean sure i can goto VatoZone and get some but i would prefer something a little better than that. Especially on the rotors side. Any opinions from recommendations or personal use would be excellent!

 

me personally i would go with oem honda rotors. i've also heard good things about brembo blank rotors. i am using powerslot slotted rotors. I prefer blank rotors than slotted or cross drilled rotors

 

Judging by how you are wording this, I'd say all you need is blank rotors(oem, brembo or even cheap auto parts store brand), and Hawk HPS pads and you're good to go.
