Default Better suspension

I just bought a 98 Civic Dx and have been looking into many diff. suspension options but i just want to get some opinions on what i should get. I want the car to be lowered a little bit (nothing crazy) and have a better ride while being able to manuver corners. Open to any suggestions without totally breaking the bank.

civicexracer, would you consider using these set of TOKICO struts and shocks along with the TEIN S-Tech lowering springs the best of both worlds. considering overall cost, appearance, and performance?
