Break noise

Break noise
I have a 01 civic ex coupe. I just changed the brake pads on the front about 3 weeks ago. Im gonna take a wild guess and say the shop didnt put ceramic brake pads on em. Recently when ever i brake slowly I get a weird roaring sound and at times it almost sounds like water..... This doesnt happen when i brake hard. I had my whole front left break changed during instalation due to the fact that one of the pistons was fully extented out. It would not retract no matter how hard they banged on it. Im gonna take a wild guess and say perhaps this sound is happening because of the cheap a$$ pads the shop installed on em?? I have not changed the rear pads yet and the sound is def coming from the front. What do you guys sugest I do? And why does it sound like water? or is that just the slow friction coming from the rotors and pads making that noise?

RE: Break noise
Can you check your work order? Sounds like it could be ceramic pads. They are a bit more noisy than basic pads. I just had ceramic pads added and there is a bit more noise...kind of like a low rumble when I brake. It doesn't sound bad, just different than basic pads. If you are that concerned, take it back to the shop and have someone look at it. Do the brakes feel ok?

RE: Break noise
The brakes feel fine as far as stopping wise just that low rumbling noise. I just finished having my engine detailed and they steamed the chasis and whell housing. For some reason it hasnt done the noise todayafter that. Ill test it tommorrow once it not raining anymore.
