Default can i upsize my rims without getting a low profile tire

i have a 2013 honda civic ex/l with factory 15" steel wheels. i recently found the perfect rims for me at a price i can afford as im only in highschool and i found the smallest they go to is 16'', and i was wondering if i would be able to wrap them in a 16' tire without rubbing the wheel well. if anyone knows the answer it would really help me out as i dont have the budget for low profile tires. thanks

go on tirerack.com put in your car and select wheel search select 16in rim and it will tell you the recommended tire size. if you change the outer diameter of your tire it will effect your mpg slightly and you speedometer will be off.

also the exl should already have 16s 205 55 16. as a father i feel inclined to suggest you save your money for more important things. college is pretty borong with your own funds to go do whatever you want in your downtime. your car is also 7yrs old and bound to start needing more expensive repairs.
