just called the company that sold me them and they said that its a common problem they have because sometimes there is too much zinc on the rotor and after a week or so it should go away.... I have a 90 day warranty so I dont think this guy was talking out of his @$$. he made it seem like it was a common problem that a lot of their customers have and it should go away after a week or so...... does this seem like a legit reason?

did he bleed the brakes also?

sounds like it shouldnt be vibrating unless they are warped or maybe not firmly instaled....

i would definatly have the guy look at them again!

if he cannt come up with anything then swap the wheels back, BUT i dont see them being the problem since you say it vibrates when you hit the brakes....

sounds to me like the rotors are warped... or maybe he forgot to clean the rotors protective coating off and it loaded up the pads.... hard to know...

i guess just depends HOW GOOD of a brand rotors you bought..... some cheap brands i could see them being crapy brand new and shaking like that from not being balanced....
which is why id spend the extra money for a beter brand rotors.
they are just like wheels that need to be balanced but i dont know of any places that balance them.LOL
He replaced the padds and rotors... i think you fail to see this part... cause last time i checked.. last time i did my brakes you don't need to bleed them as the don't have fluid... only the caliper does

also needing to bleed the brakes would not cause them to shudder when braking.

yesterday when i tried installing them myself, i accidentally turned the bleeder screw and liquid drained out and I got an air pocket, so he did have to bleed my brakes.... does this make a difference?

well if thats the case lol... as long as it was bled it shouldn't make a difference. best bet would be to take it all off, then put it all back in, 9 out of 10 times that fix'es it right there

Did you happen to get some brake fluid on the pads or rotor? If you did, it also could cause the brakes to stutter.

should I wait off and see if this guys "zinc theory" is correct? give it a week or so and see if it goes away? also, my friend brought me the car after it was done and im sure he didnt break them in properly, could this have heat them up too fast and then caused them to warp?
