Default Coilovers installation question.

I have a question that might sound silly. I just recieved my Dropzone Coilovers and Dropzone shocks. My problem is that the coilover sleeves don't go all the way down on the rear shocks, they get stuck on a collar that is circled in red And the sleeves for the front drop down into that "spring cup" like 1 inch or so. Is this normal? Should I install them this way?

the ones with the cup are rears. but im trying to remember mine, and im pretty sure that they went over that first lip. i dont like the looks of that. cracked sleeves suck.

Yea, I did confuse fronts and rears. I'll take a closer look tomorrow, but There no way those damned sleeves are going over that "bump" Is it allright that the rears are down one inch into the cup? I want to retain stock height.
